The Camp SHAKE formula increases skills by teaching athletic techniques, drills, insight, and mindfulness. Participants are shown how to be effective team members, while they are enjoying the process of reaching their full potential. Camp SHAKE encourages athletes, ages 5-14 (grades K-8th), to fully embrace sports, and allows them to experience the rewarding feeling of their hard work paying off.

Camp Directors
Ryan Henry
Coach Ryan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Palisades High School and went on to earn a full athletic scholarship to the University of Hawaii, where he pursued his love for football and higher learning. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicology, a program that focused on the processes and functions of human communication. These skills helped prepare him for his professional life applying the vital principles of effective communication through teaching, building relationships, and trust.
Since graduating, Ryan has been teaching elementary PE and coaching middle-school students in football, basketball, track, and sport psychology as an elective. He completed a Master of Education, with an emphasis in positive coaching and athletic leadership at the University of Missouri which furthered his knowledge of directing programs, leading students to achieve their optimal performance both as individuals and as team members. Ryan trains athletes one-on-one and coaches club basketball.
COACH KELLY
Coach Kelly was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended Schurr High School, where she was a four-year varsity member of the basketball team and competed in track and field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. She has previously taught early childhood and currently teaches second grade. Participating in athletics has always been a significant part of Kelly’s life. In order to fulfill that passion, she continued her higher education at Concordia University Irvine to earn her Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletics Administration.
When Kelly was sophomore in high school, she began coaching a girl’s travel basketball team. From this experience, she realized she loved coaching even more than when she played because she could give back to the youth and teach the next generation of athletes about the sport that provided so many meaningful life lessons and opportunities. Kelly coaches high school boys and girls varsity basketball teams, a boys club team, and trains athletes for strength, agility, and conditioning.
COACH JORDAN
Coach Jordan aka Coach Mula was born and raised in Newbury Park, California. He attended Newbury Park High School where he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. He went on to earn a football scholarship to San Jose State University where he played quarterback. After San Jose State he signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent and also played overseas for two seasons.
After his football career he started his Master's Program at Grand Canyon University in secondary education. He now works at Briskin Elementary where he is the Athletic Director, PE Teacher, soccer, flag football, basketball, and volleyball coach. Jordan has been working with young athletes for many years, his focus is improving skills and fundamentals but more importantly building self-confidence and working through adversity.
